DJ.OSÉ

DJ.OSÉ is a Vinyl DJ and selector based in Oakland, California.

Their sound focuses on slower tempos, blending jazz, soul, funk, and global/ethno-influenced textures into cohesive, mood-driven sets. Known for a “slow-burn” approach, their mixes emphasize atmosphere, patience, and groove over high-energy transitions.

Currently, DJ.OSÉ performs across Oakland and San Francisco, with a focus on listening-room environments and vinyl centered sessions. They were recently featured in the Bar Miso Sunday Sessions, where they delivered a set highlighting their signature blend of ambient textures and soulful jazz-funk.

Their Chillits 2025 Demo showcases this style, moving from ethno-ambient soundscapes into steady, groove-driven selections.

When not behind the decks, DJ.OSÉ can be found digging for records across the bay and refining a collection centered on deep, textured sounds from across genres and regions.
