SETI X is a South Asian American Sikh hip-hop artist from California whose sounds and vibrations aim to resonate and heal at the level of original DNA. He has toured internationally and shared stages with Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), Talib Kweli, RZA, Ziggy Marley, Punjabi MC, and Prophets of Rage, was the first emcee featured on Coke Studios at MTV India alongside tabla virtuoso Karsh Kale, and has been spotlighted on CNN‘s Emmy-winning “United Shades of America” with W. Kamau Bell and in the Smithsonian‘s Indian American Heritage Exhibit. He is the director of two documentaries, SIKLIGAR and FOLK LOK, the latter produced with support from the U.S. Department of State and the American India Foundation, and is the 2021 J Dilla Music Technology Grantee in partnership with the Save The Music Foundation. His mission is consistent across every form his work takes: educate the next generation, resonate ancient culture within them, and reveal the gods in all of us.
